Get ideas on how to Motivate yourself to make YouTube Videos. I'm sharing 3 ways I use to motivate myself in tough times to create and post videos. Hope this YouTube motivation comes in useful for you!
Hey, are you a content creator but you don't feel like making your next YouTube video?
It happens all the time to me and in this video I'll show you three ways that I tackle this funk.
Here is the first reason why you don't feel like making your next YouTube video.
Reason 1 : Professional Vs Ameteur Approach
You're approaching the video production totally wrong, let me explain.
There are two ways you can approach video production.
One is like an amateur, another one is like a professional.
An amateur looks at video production as one task and therefore waits for inspiration to strike to go about the task.
Which also means that most of the other times they fool around, whereas a professional looks at video production as a process which has clear distinct steps.
Which also means that the person clearly recognizes.
That not all steps in the process required to be inspired.
For example, you require inspiration to come up with that beautiful thing.
He required inspiration for writing a good script, but then you don't require inspiration to do video editing.
Uploading your YouTube video, writing tags, description, etc.
They all require you to have discipline and not inspiration.
Just like you.
I also don't feel inspired all the time, but.
I have a clear work schedule which means once I decide that I'm going to work on video production between 9:30 and 12:30, I do my work.
Depending on whether I am inspired that day or not, I pick up the task.
For example, if I don't feel very inspired that day, then I pick up the task like video editing, uploading or writing descriptions.
But usually what happens is when I do these routines, inspiration strikes.
For example, when I do research on one topic.
I feel inspired to create another topic, but here is where the difference lies.
Once I get the inspiration, I take full advantage of it.
I do batch production, which means when I do research for a topic, I don't just do research for one topic.
I also note down points for other videos as well the same way when I feel inspired to create a beautiful thumbnail design.
I carry the inspiration forward.
To design other thumbnails as well, when I fill my videos, I don't stop at one video I try to carry the inspiration forward to shoot three or four other videos as well.
So the next time when I turn up for work, when I don't feel inspired, I can spend my time editing those videos other than to force myself to film another video.
This is the secret behind how professionals create consistent videos week after week, year after year.
So the next time you don't feel like producing another YouTube video, ask yourself this question.
Am I approaching video production as an amateur or as a professional?
Reason 2 : Feeling Bored
All right, let's go to the second reason why you don't feel like making your next YouTube video.
The reason is you feel bored now.
There are two reasons why you feel bored.
One is the deep seated psychological reason and the second one is the usual routine reason.
Let me talk about the first one.
Many times we feel bored because we feel that what we are doing is not really making any difference to anyone.
Once again, this feeling comes to me quite regularly.
I keep wondering I'm making so many videos, is it really helping anyone at all?
But during those times I do one thing that really helps.
I go back to my channel, sort my videos based on popularity, and start going through positive comment.
There are so many good viewers like you who leave positive comments and those comments really cheer me up.
Going through those comments for 10 minutes is enough to feel validated.
When I read comments like how my videos have helped them do a certain task better, I feel that I'm helping someone somewhere with my work.
And that Spurs me on to create more video.
The second reason why you feel bored is because you do the same thing over and over again.
Try to do something different.
For example, if you are someone who creates tutorial videos all the time, try creating a personal video where you share a personal lesson that would help your audience.
Or try creating a motivational video.
This variation will really add the necessary spark, even in your signature videos.
When you go back to creating the usual videos that you create, you will see a difference in the quality.
So bring in variety in your work.
Reason 3: Burn Out
Now the third reason why you don't feel like creating your next YouTube video is a very genuine one.
Probably you are burnt out.
Most of us YouTube creators or type A personalities we really want to do far more than what we are capable of.
So even if we don't have enough time in the day.
We commit to a schedule of daily upload of YouTube videos.
It is time for you to take a reality check.
I'm sure you've heard that when you create long videos then YouTube will reward you by suggesting your videos more regularly, but then The thing is, do you really have the time to create those long videos all the time?
If not, try creating the shorter ones.
So by taking a reality check you can continue to create good quality videos for a long time.
Rather than to feel burnt out very quickly.
If you feel tired all the time.
If you are angry with people, if you're not getting any good ideas, then chances are that you are burnt out, so take.
Break what you stupid serial go for a walk or if required take a vacation.
Almost always when you come back to desk from a vacation your mind is recharged and you get fresh ideas to create videos.
So the next time you don't feel like creating your next YouTube video then think of these three big reasons.
One are you approaching video production the right way?
Second, are you bored third or you burnt out?
When you find genuine answers to these three questions, then you will feel motivated to make your next video as soon as possible.
